LES Gallery

Laura Piasta was born in Burnaby British Columbia and grew up on the West Coast of Canada. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art from the Emily Carr University of Art and design in 2006. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Japan, Argentina and the USA, as well as at numerous galleries and institutions in Vancouver BC including the Contemporary Art Gallery, Video In and the back gallery of the Helen Pitt. Piasta was a recipient of a Visual Arts Development Award (VADA) in 2007 and is currently living and working in Berlin, Germany.
